Brooks, and our "love hate relationship"

Brooks Koepka in an interview with GQ he finally was able to complete some of the half answers he has had out there the past two years.

I had written Brooks off in the past due to his comments that made him seem to not really be a fan of golf. After saying he does not like to play golf with his buddies when he's not playing in Majors or on the tour. That came as a shock back then, but now that Brooks has shed light on why he made that comment, I understand.

Brooks basically said "old man golf is killing the game" with the rules and policies we all run into at high end Country Clubs. The kind that wont allow a member guest inside the club house to take a piss unless the member who invited them is there to hold their hand while they go.

Brooks said he likes to go to the range in gym clothes with his hat on backwards and went on to say that even as one of the world's top ranked golfers, he still can catch some flak from the club staff.

All in all I am glad Brooks was able to expound on those comments that honestly make him look like a fake to many. GolfHub is back on the Brooks train, for the time being!
